Routers & access points
Routers and access points with Unwired Cloud OS form the backbone of smart networks, reliable uplinks and application virtualizations. WiFi 6, fast LTE according to CAT 12 as well as 5G support warrant fast connections.

Switches & injectors
Switches reliably link all Ethernet-connected components in the vehicle, use Power over Ethernet (PoE) to supply the connected components with electricity and securely separate applications via VLANs.
One or more switches provide a sufficient number of Ethernet connectors for all applications and forward the network connections between the vehicle bodies
By using switches to supply the connected devices with electricity from network cables, less power connectors and voltage converters are needed which consequently limits possible errors
Switches use virtual LANs to divide a physical network connection in the vehicle into several virtual networks, usually one per application (e.g. PIS, APC, etc.)
