Our story

The idea around Unwired Networks emerged in 2011 from the vision to make the set up of Internet access and use as simple as possible. At that time, we put in place the largest public WiFi network of the Alps. Since then we have been developing ourselves further and are constanly on the move, just like our new mobile services for busses and trains. Since its foundation, Unwired Networks has been the property of its owner and is financed privately.

Chapter one

Founding of the company with the objective of making a simplified and cost-effective Internet access possible.

Expansion of our services into ski centers, touristic regions and retail businesses.

Chapter three

Launch in the rail industry and realignment focussing on the public/private transportation field. Development of Unwired Edge Cloud.

Expansion to Germany with passenger WiFi for Abellio Group, Netinera, Transdev, etc.
