Edge Networking & Edge Compute
Edge networking and edge compute were at the heart of our new stand concept. We showed state-of-the-art hardware exhibits and held plenty of advisory conversations about software. Over fresh lemonade, coffee, and popcorn, visitors found out about:
- dependable data connections,
- the central vehicle router,
- setting up Edge WiFi in minutes,
- cloud-based management of vehicle networks, and
- resource-efficient application virtualization.
Hardware
Matching hardware releases were on show alongside. Among them the powerful Wi-Fi 6 access point AP 3400 from Netmodule, built for rail and other environments with similarly high demands. The NB3800-UW rail router and the Teltonika RUT955 for automotive and bus use also drew plenty of attention.
