Over three days, more than 270 exhibiting companies and over 7,000 visitors filled two halls. This year Unwired Networks presented a new stand concept with new focus topics for the first time.

IT Trans highlights

Smart Networks for Digital Vehicles

At the new stand, the focus was on smart networks, passenger Wi-Fi, and edge computing. Unwired Edge Cloud was presented as an end-to-end cloud platform for data communications in vehicles.

The smart offering for rail, bus, and special vehicles covers

  • passenger Wi-Fi,
  • the central vehicle router,
  • device management & telemetry,
  • application virtualization,
  • dependable connections, and
  • remote access.

Unwired Edge Hardware

The matching hardware was on show alongside. New Wi-Fi 6 and 5G-capable devices had their first outing, including the AP 3400, the recently released access point from Netmodule for rail.

The NB3800-UW rail router and the Teltonika RUT955 for automotive and bus applications also caught the eye. You will find every technical specification and device from Unwired Networks here: Unwired Edge hardware.

On day one, Alexander Szlezak, CEO at Unwired Networks, made his trade fair debut for the year at the Market Update Forum. In line with Unwired’s focus topics, he covered the aspects of “mass deployment of edge networks and apps”. His talk gave IT Trans visitors a closer look at the current challenges in fleet management and the approaches needed to meet them.

So the first fair after the long Covid break was put to good use, making new contacts and strengthening existing ones. Particular thanks go to the partner companies who came to the Unwired Networks stand to show the synergies between topics and impressed with talks of their own: Bondix Intelligence, Interautomation, Blum-Germany, Netmodule, and Advantech.
